This is a painting of my sister, done a few months ago, it has since been trimmed but not re photographed. This was intended to be a clash of realism and exppresionism, i kept the brush marks for the skin very gestural and light, using solid block of colour and rough blending techniques, and for the lips, if you look closely, i used a very fine brush and a close up to detail them as best i could.
