Exhibition Paintings

These are the 3 final outcomes for my final major project,
they are now hung at my college for the end of year exhibition.
All 3 are acrylic on canvas, and the middle is my personal favorite,
The year is finally over but i will continue to make art and share
it with everyone who's watching.

3 Self Portraits - Acrylic on Canvas

 Anger
 Stress
Paranoia

These 3 paintings are part of my final major project,
they were done as large scale media testing to result in 3 more
large scale final outcomes.

Ed Sheeran - Pencil on Cartridge

Small scale portrait of Ed Sheeran, after doing this i have been
commissioned to do the same picture, but A3 size. It will be sold for £30.

Despair - Acrylic on Canvas (FMP)

This painting is part of a set of 3, the only one so far completed.
It is another self portrait as my project theme continues.
I decided to take away the words from the photos, they
take away from the poses, and instead of letting the audience
engage in the picture and read into it, they were explaining
the situation. So this is the latest development.
Your comments are appreciated.

Blue Eyes Blue Face - Acrylic Ink on Cartridge paper

This is the same again, inspired by the same artist, it is much more abstract in a sense, the features arent very prominent, and the skill isn't all there, but it was a good experiment and gave me some fresh ideas!

Candy Lips - Acrylic Ink on Cartridge paper

This was inspired by the work of Marion Bolognesi. Its nowhere near the standard that he produces, but i was fascinated by the multitude of colours, and the way the ink was left to roam down the page.

Tears of Joy - Pencil on Cartridge - For Sale! £50

This is the original drawn image i used from 'Free like never before' , so the story is all there. i will say this is one of my favorite drawings of my own.

Deep Breath - Acrylic on Canvas

This is a painting of my sister, done a few months ago, it has since been trimmed but not re photographed. This was intended to be a clash of realism and exppresionism, i kept the brush marks for the skin very gestural and light, using solid block of colour and rough blending techniques, and for the lips, if you look closely, i used a very fine brush and a close up to detail them as best i could.

The Self Conscious Illness - Pencil on Cartridge - A2

This is a drawing of my friend Seaneen, despite being an attractive and talented young woman she still struggles to come to terms with her body image, when i asked her to sit for the photograph she was only persuaded by the fact i said she could put her head down to try and hide her face. This drawing took roughly 80 hours in total.
